Agreement

These terms apply to your use of onlineflashcardmaker.com (the "Service"), operated by OnlineFlashcardMaker. By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

The Service is a free, browser-based tool for making, studying, printing, importing, and exporting flashcards. No account is required. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim to keep the existing features free, as described on our free-forever page.

Your content

You own the cards, notes, and images you create or import. Your content is stored on your device and is not sent to us, so we don't claim any licence to it.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the material you put into the Service, including text and images copied from textbooks, websites, or other apps, and for anything you choose to share.

Shared links and embeds

When you share a deck by link, embed, or QR code, the deck travels inside the link. Anyone with the link can view it. Don't use shared links or embeds to distribute:

• content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
• illegal content, or content that harasses, threatens, or exposes private information about others;
• malware, phishing, or deceptive content;
• sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence or hatred.

We don't host the content of shared links, but if we're told that a link built with the Service is being used to abuse others, we may take reasonable steps available to us, such as blocking it from loading on our site.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, overload it, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to break the law. Automated scraping of the site that affects its availability is not allowed.

Third-party names

Anki, Quizlet, and other product names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. The Service is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Import and export features are provided for your convenience; compatibility with other apps may change when those apps change.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that it will be error-free or always available, or that study features will produce any particular result.

Your data lives in your browser and can be lost if browser storage is cleared, the device fails, or the browser removes site data. Keep your own backups using the export feature.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OnlineFlashcardMaker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero, or the lowest amount permitted by applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
